Learning in Community: Interaction, Collaboration and Cooperation in Higher Education
Inhalte
Interaction, cooperation and collaboration with others are essential prerequisites for many learning situations in higher education. A targeted use of methods and tools for (online) cooperation supports not only the learning process but also student motivation. This is especially important in the online setting which lacks opportunities for incidental and informal contact.
In this workshop we will have a look at student interaction, cooperation and collaboration and their role in higher education. Apart from looking at the theoretical basics, we will experience and discuss some methods and tools and you will start to generate ideas for your own teaching. In Addition, we will also touch upon the topic of learning communities and how to foster them.
Please be prepared to do a small task beforehand and to participate actively during the whole day.
