How to write a competitive ERC Grant
Inhalte
The ERC Grants of the European Research Council (ERC) are part of the framework programme Horizon Europe of the European Commission. They are designed to support exceptional and outstanding researchers in establishing and consolidating their own independent research groups as well as in pursuing ground-breaking, high-risk projects that open new directions in their respective research fields.
This online workshop will give the participants an overview over the ERC funding programme and will provide them background knowledge, hints and tips on how to develop a competitive ERC Grant and will give them an insight into the evaluation process.
Participants will practice with their own project ideas and discuss the results with each other.
The workshop will:
- give you an overview of the funding programme of the ERC
- make you understand the essential components of an ERC proposal
- enable you to write a compelling ERC proposal
Note: The workshop will not provide an overview on general funding opportunities within Horizon Europe.
This workshop is offered by the Department for Research Services in collaboration with the Research Academy Leipzig.
